According to episode 3 4, Korra wears her hairstyle to bed. It should not have been nearly as presentable as it was when she woke up, haha.
Just a little pet peeve I have with animation. Characters often end up going to bed wearing ponytails or pigtails and waking up wearing them just fine. It’s likely because of a need for simplification and maybe animators with less experience in wearing ponytails/pigtails?? idk. Unless it’s in a braid or a tight bun, that neat ponytail is gonna be a mess cometh the dawn. And in Korra’s case she has THREE to contend with!
All that said, it’s SO in character for Korra to do this, hahaha. There should just be actual repercussions! Pema having to brush out a golfball-sized tangle or something: “BUT PEMAAA I’M GONNA MISS PROBENDING PRACTIIICE” “WELL YOU SHOULD HAVE THOUGHT ABOUT THAT BEFORE LETTING YOUR HAIR GET LIKE THIS”
Cherry is such a challenge for me to draw, so I’m trying to figure her out!

After seeing the teaser at the end of the Korra premiere I got to thinking. Bryan and Mike are Troll Creators extraordinaire, what if that “ADMIT IT YOU LIKE ME” was actually cropped out of context? What if Korra was going to say a different word that only STARTED with “me”???
And then things got very silly.
(As an aside, I am not trying to delegitimize anyone’s ships here, I ship these two as well haha. I’m just having fun entertaining impossibilities)

Drawn referencing fashions posted by omgthatdress, some of the Valentina dresses posted today have a distinctly Classical flair to them. They all seem to have been designed with skinnier gals than Mama in mind, but that just adds to the challenge!
Some mycenaean!babu!mamagreeces I drew for some icons. Sorry the seams in the paper texture are so blatant, since they were gonna be small icons I didn’t have to worry about where they were.
It was really fun researching Mycenaean clothing for these! Man, Mycenaeans, your clothes make no sense, though…

My absolute favorite pokemon will always be good ol Bulbasaur, but when I found out Ralts is hiding the cutest face ever underneath that helmet I gained a second-favorite!
Also I’m known for wearing odd-colored knit caps, so it was a no-brainer choice for tumblrmon. :D
Suddenly it seems like all I can draw is genderbent Harry Potter…
Since my first attempt, Harriet and Herman have evolved into much better designs, Harriet getting a more unique hairstyle than Harry’s-Hair-Just-Longer-I-Guess (though I’ve decided that she didn’t start wearing the ponytail until after first year) and Herman looking more mature. But I think I’m satisfied with Veronica the way she is. (Which is ironic, since I can never quite pinpoint my mental image of Ron…)
