Art School Conundrums
Teacher A: Your sketches are too tight and controlled, make them more thumbnail-y.
Teacher B: Your sketches are too loose, I need to see your intent better.
Teacher C: I want you to scan some sketches for next class, and make them really loose and gestural, that’s what sketches are!
Haha… no happy medium applicable to all classes and situations, I suppose.
